Riccardois Head of Paediatric and Neonatal Intensive Care at Geneva University Hospitals. He is a former President of the Swiss Society for Neonatology and of the Swiss Neonatal Resuscitation Program start4neo. 
His research focuses on perinatal adaptation, resuscitation, thermoregulation, and developmental care. He has over 20 years of experience in international cooperation and teaching, alongside clinical work in a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
